Native Alerts

Prior to creating an alert, you must first establish the method by which you would like to receive it. You can receive alerts via your personal and work email accounts, and these alerts can be accessed in the online banking message center.

You can choose to receive alerts differently for each alert type in the Setup alerts box. For each alert type (i.e., Financial, Personal, Marketing, and System), click the check box next to the preferred receipt method. Alerts can be delivered to the online banking message center, to your personal (or home) email address, and/or to your work email address. After selecting the check boxes for each alert type you want to receive, click the Save button.

To add or change your personal (home) and/or work email address, click the Change Email Address link to go to the My Profile page.

After determining the method(s) by which you will receive alerts, you can create alerts to help you stay informed on the status of your funds.

Setting up a Balance Alert

1. From the For this Account dropdown, select the account for which an alert will be sent.

2. To create an alert when your balance falls below a certain amount, enter the minimum amount in the Available Balance Below box. Amounts must be a numeric value.

3. To create an alert when your balance rises above a specified amount, enter the amount in the Available Balance Above box. Amounts must be a numeric value.

4. Click the Create Alert button to add the alert.

5. If you elect not to activate the alert, click Clear.

Creating an Alert for a Check or Amount

1. In the For this Account dropdown, select your checking account number.

2. To create an alert when a specific check number has cleared, type the check number in the Check # text box. The check number must be a numeric value.

3. To create an alert for a designated check amount, select the criteria by which the alert should be created in the Check amount is dropdown. You can create an alert if a check amount is greater than, less than, or equal to a certain amount.

4. Enter the amount in the Check amount is box. This amount must be a numeric value.

5. Click the Create Alert button to add the alert.

6. If you elect not to activate the alert, click Clear.

Creating an Alert for a Transaction Type

1. In the For this Account dropdown, select the account for which an alert will be sent.

2. Select the transaction type from the Transaction Type dropdown.

3. You can create an alert if the amount for a transaction is greater than, less than, or equal to a certain amount. Select one of these options from the dropdown after the Transaction Type list.

4. Type the amount in the data entry box on the same line. This amount must be a numeric value.

5. Click the Create Alert button to add the alert.

6. If you elect not to activate the alert, click Clear.

Setting up an Incoming Wire Alert

1. In the For this account dropdown, select the account for which an alert will be sent.

2. Select the An incoming wire has been processed by the Financial Institution box.

3. Click the Create Alert button to add the alert.

4. If you elect not to activate the alert, click Clear.

You can use the online banking Alerts feature to receive personal alerts at regular intervals. These alerts can be reminders about your account balance or account activities. Prior to creating a personal alert, select a method by which you want to receive it using the Set up alerts box, as described in the Setting up Alerts Delivery section.

To create a personal alert,

1. Type the date you want this alert to begin in the On text box. This date must not be a date in the past. You can also use the calendar icon to select a date.

2. Type the message you want to display in the Notify Me text box. This text displays in the alert message you receive.

3. Use the With this frequency dropdown to control the frequency for receiving the alert. You can select One Time, Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annual, or Annually.

4. If you select any frequency other than One Time, you must enter the number of times this alert should be sent in the # of times box. The text entered in this box must be a numeric value.

5. Click the Create Alert button to add the alert.

6. If you elect not to activate the alert, click Clear.

To view your saved alerts, click the View my Saved Alerts link from the Setup Alerts page. All alerts you have previously created appear in the saved alerts display.

The Saved Alerts grid shows all alerts you previously set up in the online banking system. The grid displays the date you set up the alert, the type of alert, the account for which the alert was created, the alert information, the frequency of the alert, the next send date for the alert, and the method by which the alert is delivered.

1. Click the trash can icon next to the Alert Information for the alert you want to delete.

2. A Confirmation pop-up displays. Click YES-DELETE to confirm you want to delete this alert. Click NO to return to the Saved Alerts page without deleting the alert.

1. Click the Print icon at the top or bottom of the page.

2. When the Confirmation pop-up displays, select the Current Page or the All Pages option to print only the current page of saved alerts or all the alerts.

3. Click Print to print the requested alerts or Cancel to return to the Inbox or Sent Messages page.

To view details for alerts that were already sent, click the Alerts History link. The Alert History page displays.

The Alert History page displays all alerts which were sent to you by the system. By default, the grid shows detailed data for each alert sent. This data includes the setup date for the alert, the date the alert was sent, the status of the alert, the account for which the alert was sent, and the subject of the alert followed by the actual alert message content.

To hide the content of each alert message listed under the line providing summary data for the message, select the Show Summary Only check box.

Searching for Sent Alerts

1. Click the Advanced Search tab on the Alerts History page.

2. Type or select the dates from the calendar in the Dates: From and To fields to search for either the Setup Date or the Date Sent.

3. Choose the alert status you want to search for in the Status dropdown. You can search for alerts that are in the Sent, Active, or Sent or Active status.

4. Click Search.

5. Detailed data for each alert that matches your search criteria displays in the grid. To view only summary data for each alert, select the Show Summary Only check box.

If your search results in 1000 rows of alert history, a Warning pop-up displays. Your search results may take a longer time to load. To continue with the search, click Yes. To return to the Advanced Search tab to refine your search, click No.

Printing Sent Alerts

1. Click the Print icon at the top or bottom of the page.

2. When your workstation’s print menu displays, make the appropriate selections and click Print. You may print the sent alerts on the current page or, if there are multiple pages of data, the alert data on all pages.

Exporting Sent Alerts

1. Click the Export icon at the top or bottom of the page.

2. On the Export Options pop-up, select the format to which you want to export the alert data and click Continue. Note that your financial institution defines which formats you can use.

3. When the Export To … pop-up displays, choose the option to either export the alert data listed on the current page or all the alert data, then click Export. You may also click Cancel to exit the pop-up without exporting data.

4. A File Download window displays prompting you to open or save the export file to your workstation.
